Qatari society Mejally Agricultural Planning affirms its willingness to invest in Mauritania
Mejally Mr. Mohamed Mejally Saad El Mejally, CEO of the company Mejally Agricultural Planning and affirmed the will of its establishment to invest in agriculture in Mauritania.
The announcement was made during a working session held in Nouakchott Sunday between the Commissioner responsible for investment promotion, Mr. Abdoul Ba Houdou and a delegation from the Qatari society, led by its CEO.
The CEO of that company has, on this occasion, expressed the interests of his company to invest in Mauritania in the areas of land management, the practice of agriculture in the river and leasing equipment agriculture, stressing that his institution has already opened an office in Mauritania.
The Qatari delegation has done a tour on the ground leading them to certain areas of the country including the city of Rosso. They took this opportunity to meet with officials of the rural development sector and the Commission responsible for investment promotion.
The visit of the delegation of Qatari society proves, according to sources at the police in charge of investment promotion, "the interest shown by foreign investors to invest in Mauritania and their willingness to take advantage of opportunities offered by the country and the climate of stability, security and openness that exists in Mauritania."
The meeting took place in the presence of Mr. Aboubekrine Sidigh Mohamed El Hacen Ould, deputy commissioner in charge of investment promotion and other officials of the department.
