A group of members of the National Party for Democracy and Development (PNDD-Adel) announced their withdrawal of this political formation.

The announcement was made during a meeting organized by the group Monday evening at the former House of youth Nouakchott.

During this meeting, the members of the group have called on all forces inside and outside of the party to join them in setting up what they called a "political framework".
