Mauritania celebrated, like other countries of the Arab Maghreb Union (AMU) maghrébine Day of the Child under the theme "No to child labor."
Ms. Selama Mint Cheikhna Ould Lemrabott, Minister of Social Welfare, Children and Family underlined that the interest in the child is a strategic choice for the control of hope for tomorrow and future generations .
This statement by the Minister was made during a ceremony organized by his department, in collaboration with the Secretariat of State charged the AMU and Unicef at the former home of youth in the capital at the commemoration of this day.
