The Department of Technical and Vocational Training has taken a new step towards the promotion of the sector with the award Monday in Nouakchott from 13 programs tailored to the requirements of the domestic labor market, six training centers and professional development nationals.

The design, development and adaptation of these new programs are unique to the subject of consultation between the competent departments of the State Secretariat and its partners to solve the famous problem of inadequacy of the level and the nature of the training of graduates of the centers with the needs of employers.

The modules in question crown substantive work carried out by the central review of programs implemented after the establishment of the department and focus on different aspects necessary for the formation of a skilled workforce in targeted areas .

The innovations introduced inter alia the extension of the duration of training that is passed from one year to two to give beneficiaries time to acquire enough skills to integrate the workforce, the consolidation of programs within the centers used to provide initial training (Nouakchott, Atar, Aioun, Rosso, and Kiffa Sélibaby) and the choice of routes depending on the size of their product compared to revive the national economy.
